Learn More About Geckos!

Where I live in Barbados, the “geckos” I mostly spot are the Barbaos Green Lizard. There are several other varieties which have also found their way to this island country. Some have lots of stripes and spots. Some are dark brown or black, and most are greenish. There are lovely white ones who seem almost see through when they are running about the white walls of my villa.
Am I afraid of geckos? No! Geckos eat bugs which keeps my house nice and free of unwanted crawly things. I really enjoy watching for them throughout the house and gardens!

Want to know all about geckos? The links below have lots of cool facts about geckos and can answer many questions like:

    • What do geckos eat?
    • When would I find geckos in my garden? Day or night?
    • Where do geckos live?
    • Why don’t geckos blink?
    • How do geckos go climbing straight up the wall? Are their feet sticky?
